A tract by this famous French philosopher/economist entitled, On coinage, which speaks out against the debasement of coinage and was first printed in 1484. This tract also touches on the ongoing conflict between thechurch and state within the Holy Roman Empire. On coinage was written by Oresme during the 14th century and copied in this form by the priest, Johannes Verscane.
